Development & construction of a houseboat hull

The customer Preuss Messe received a hull from us for their 1st houseboat. The task was very versatile.

Together with the company S.M.I.L.E Engineering GmbH from Heikendorf we developed a hull at customer’s options In addition, a structural calculation was made and any possible influence was taken into account.

After completion of the planning phase we started with the manufacture of the hull. We were able to weld the precisely pre-fabricated sheet steels to become a hull within a very short time.

After painting, the sections were mounted to become a greater part and brought to Travemünde by the customer. There we “celebrated the wedding” between hull and house.
